First you start with a guided city tour: Learn about the unique little water streams, called „Bächle”, the pebblestone mosaiques and discover little enchanting corners and charming lanes. We offer you a lot of more or less intensive City tours including the most important sights and – of cause – a visit to the cathedral with its wonderful spire, its famous high altar and precious stained glass windows from the Middle Ages.
Further we recommend to make a guided excursion to the nearby surroundings: Either to the „Black Forest”, to the Kaiserstuhl (wine growing area in the West), to the so called „Margravial county”, to Basel in Switzerland or to the „Alsace” in France. The French border is only 15 kilometers away, Basel only 65 kilometers.
